Impressed by the pro-people policies of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and party supremo Arvind Kejriwal, hundreds of people belonging to different parties, including four NRIs, joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday.
Harchand Singh Barsat, general secretary of AAP Punjab, got all these people included in the party in the presence of Lakhveer Singh Teji and Shobha Bhagat.
Welcoming these people to the party during a meeting organised at the party office at Sri Guru Ravidas Chownk, General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat said that people are very happy with the 300 units of free electricity, mohalla clinics and other facilities provided by Bhagwant Maan government. Hence every day hundreds of people are joining the party.
While party activist Shobha Bhagat got many women including four NRIs to join AAP and innumerable people from different parties joined the party under the leadership of Dalbir Singh Teji. Gaganjeet Singh, Harjeet Kaur, Kuldeep Singh and Kulwinder Kaur, Anita Arora, Manju, Anju, Dimple, Pooja, Meenu, Harjot Kaur, Gagandeep Singh, Amarjeet Singh, Girdari Chowdhary, Harpreet Singh Gurpreet Singh( Akali), Kanta Devi (BJP), Amit Kumar, Sewa Singh and Sunny Kumar were among hundreds of people who joined AAP ahead of Jalandhar by-poll.
