Immediate action should be taken against people engaging in illegal constructions, directs Minister Balkar Singh

The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is continuously striving to provide basic facilities and a clean, pollution-free environment to the people of the state.

Minister for Local Governments Balkar Singh expressed this commitment, stating that the state government makes every decision with the public’s interest as the top priority.

A review meeting was held at Municipal Bhawan, Sector-35 Chandigarh, where the Minister of Local Government took stock of various development works and repair projects of the Municipal Corporations.

He instructed the departmental officials to ensure that the ongoing development works in all districts of the state are completed within the designated time frame and meet the required quality standards.

Minister Balkar Singh gave explicit instructions to the officials of the Municipal Corporations, emphasizing that there should not be any illegal construction in their respective areas. He clarified that if any person engages in illegal construction, immediate action should be taken against them.
