Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain on Sunday visited the flood-affected villages of Hakumatpur, Baddon, and Dandia in the Mahilpur area to review the ongoing relief and rehabilitation measures.
During her visit, the DC interacted with affected residents, listened to their grievances, and assured them of timely compensation and assistance from the administration. She emphasized that the Revenue Department is carrying out a detailed assessment of the damages suffered by families, and compensation will be disbursed without delay.
Directing officials to ensure efficiency and transparency, Aashika Jain instructed that no lapses or delays should occur in the survey and relief distribution process. The administration is fully committed to standing by the people in this hour of difficulty. Relief and rehabilitation work must be executed swiftly so that affected families can return to normal life at the earliest, she said.
Highlighting the district administration’s preparedness, the DC noted that dedicated teams have been deployed in vulnerable areas to respond to any emergency situation. She reiterated that the government’s priority is to provide immediate relief and restore normalcy in the flood-hit villages.
