Health Department, has set up medical camps at different places in flood affected areas, in which the affected villages, such as Rakhnewala, Kutbadin, Basti, Kishnewali, Bandla, Nihale Lavera, Baggewala, Chak Hamad Tendiwala. In these camps, the best possible health services are being provided by deploying the medical teams.
Apart from this, malaria fever slides are being made or released by the medical team telling people about avoiding every disease. Anti-larvae spray is being done in the affected areas and chlorine tablets are being distributed to purify the drinking water.
We are monitoring the situation at headquarter level and our staff is ready to meet any emergent situation. Besides, the health department staff is also creating awareness among the people for taking preventive steps during post-flood days.
