HC Bar Association to observe No-Work Day on July 10 amid heavy rainfall in Punjab

Chandigarh, July 9

Amid the heavy rainfall across Punjab, the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association has decided to observe ‘No-Work’ day on July 10.

“It is for the information of all the Hon’ble Members of the Bar that the Executive committee has unanimously decided to observe no work day on 10.07.2023 due to heavy rain and water logging in the various places of tricity and a request letter has already been sent to Hon’ble Chief Justice with regard to not to pass any adverse order due to non appearance of the counsels,” stated Jasmeet Singh Bhatia, Honorary Secretary Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, Chandigarh.

In this regard, the HC Bar Association has written to Chief Justice High Court urging the latter to cooperate and not to pass any adverse order due to the non-appearance of Advocates on July 10.
