In a pioneering move to bring facilities on par with private schools, the Moga District Administration has launched an initiative to establish ultra-modern crèches in government schools. As part of a pilot project, Government Primary School, Bhim Nagar, Moga, and Government Primary School, Talwandi Bhangeriyan have been selected to introduce these facilities.
Sharing details of the initiative, Deputy Commissioner Sagar Setia announced that dedicated pre-primary blocks, each comprising two rooms, are being established in both schools. These crèches will be equipped with ultra-modern, child-friendly furniture, water purifiers, high-quality matting, modern toys, racks, and advanced infrastructure to create a nurturing environment for young learners.
Setia emphasized that, upon the success of this pilot, the administration aims to replicate the model across all primary schools in the district. He also urged residents, particularly NRIs, to come forward and adopt government schools to further enhance their infrastructure.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the district administration’s commitment to realizing the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to equip government schools with world-class facilities, ensuring quality education for all.
