Governor summons Punjab Legislative Assembly to meet for its seventh session

Chandigarh, August 21

Exercising the powers conferred under Constitution of India, the Punjab Governor has summoned Sixteenth Punjab Vidhan Sabha to meet for its Seventh Session on Monday, 2nd September, 2024 at 02.00 PM at Chandigarh.

An official spokesperson said that Governor Gulab Chand Kataria has summoned the Vidhan Sabha to meet for session in exercise of powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 174 of Constitution of India.
