GNDU VC, CP and DC Amritsar release trailer of upcoming film Attari junction

Trailer of upcoming Film, “Attari Junction – A 161-year-old Historic Railway Station” was released on Tuesday by MP Gurjit Singh Aujla, Commissioner Police, Amritsar Naunihal Singh, IPS, Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Amit Talwar, IAS, Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu Vice Chancellor GNDU, Amritsar in the august presence of Civil, Police, Custom officials and prominent citizens with special screening at PVR Inox, Amritsar.

The Trailer is an eye opener not only for people of Punjab but across the World for those who have interest in Punjab’s rich Heritage, Culture and Tourism making them aware about this significant railway junction which witnessed the partition of India in 1947, leading to the formation of two separate nations, India and Pakistan.

Commissioner Police Amritsar, Naunihal Singh, IPS stated that the Trailer will play a positive role towards attracting visitors who come from across globe to witness Wagah Border to experience this historic 161-year-old Attari Railway Station.

Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Amit Talwar, IAS appreciated the dedicated efforts of Heritage promoter Harpreet Sandhu to beautifully portray 161 year old Attari Railway Station which stands as a testimony to the shared history, cultural exchanges, and economic ties between India and Pakistan.

Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu Vice Chancellor GNDU, Amritsar said that the upcoming film minutely highlights Attari Railway Station which holds immense historical significance as it lies close to the Wagah-Attari Border and witnessed the partition of India in 1947, which led to the formation of two separate nations.
