Former Zira MLA Kulbir Singh released from Ropar jail

Ferozepur, October 24

Former MLA Kulbir Singh Zira, who was arrested on October 17 on the charge of obstructing government officials from performing duty at Zira while supporting the Sarpanchs sitting on dharna was released late evening on Monday.

Added here, despite securing bail from the Zira court, Kulbir Singh Zira was not released on October 18, from Ropar jail due to technical reasons. In fact, he was involved in another case under Sections 107 and 151.
