Firing at Dhilwan Toll Plaza; no one hurt

Kapurthala June 26: Four car-borne armed persons fired at the Toll Plaza at Dhilwan, on the Jalandhar-Amritsar national highway, when the toll plaza employees asked for the toll, the police said.
Dhilwan SHO Dalwinder Singh confirmed the incident of firing at the toll plaza and also said that the employees had a narrow escape.
Police said a Creta vehicle arrived at the toll plaza Dhilwan at 12:30 pm. The moment the toll plaza employee asked for the toll payment, one of the occupants started firing and later fled away on Amritsar road. The police have registered a case. The investigation is on.
