Ferozepur farmer’s decade old demand fulfilled for 12 months canal water supply

Ferozepur, October 25

By fulfilling the decades-old demand of the farmers of Ferozepur district, the Punjab government led by the Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann has made six months canals perennial.

While giving information in this regard, Rajesh Dhiman, Deputy Commissioner, said that earlier the canals in the district used to run only for 6 months during the cotton crop and during the Rabi season these canals did not run. But now these canals will run for the upcoming Rabi as well and this decision of the government has been implemented forever.
