Ferozepur: Boat carrying rescued people, overturns due to over capacity

The situation is worsening due to rising water level in Sutlej River. Former BJP MLA Sukhpal Singh Nannu, who went to deliver food items to the villages in boat and the people being rescued, capsized in the water. He was saved because he was wearing a life jacket. People from nearby houses swam on tubes and rescued the children. On the other hand, army personnel took the villagers to a safe place outside with the help of ropes in a motor boat filled with water. to deliver ration to the people.

In fact, at the time of return, an elderly woman present in the house and the children sitting in another house started shouting seeing them, then they made the children and women sit in the boat. 2-3 more youths boarded the boat. The boat capsized in the water due to overcrowding. The video of this incident went viral on the social media.
