School Education Minister of Punjab Harjot Singh Bains today visited the Government Primary School of Sector 69 and inquired about the problems faced by the students.

Giving information about this visit Bains said that he had received information that students studying in a government primary school located in Sector 69 of Mohali city were facing many problems.

He said that this school was earlier built in 1.79 acres of land, of which only 125 yards of land is left with the school now.  There are 3 rooms in this place, 147 students are being taught by 5 teachers.

Education minister said that the students have to do their morning meeting outside the school and there is no direct route to this school.  Apart from this, there is neither a bathroom nor a room for pre-primary classes.

During the visit to the school, the Education Minister also asked math questions from the students, which were answered correctly by the students, on which the Education Minister expressed happiness.

Bains immediately ordered the officials of the Education Department and Pudda authorities to shift the school to a new location and also ordered to take immediate action against the officials and employees of the Education Department who caused undue delay in this process.

After visiting the school, the Education Minister also visited the proposed land to be given to the school by Gmada.
