ECI issued revised schedule of Special Summary Revision of electoral roll

Election commission of India (ECI) has issued revised schedule of special summary revision of electoral roll for Punjab.

Divulging the details, a spokesperson informed that special summary revision of electoral roll w.r.t. 01.01.2024 as the qualifying date in Punjab shall now be done as per the schedule below:

Disposal of claims and objections

Existing Schedule by 26.12.2023 (Tuesday),

Revised Schedule by 12.01.2024 (Friday)

Checking of health parameters and obtaining Commission’s permission for final publication (ii)Updating database and printing of supplements

Existing Schedule by 01.01.2024 (Monday) ,

Revised Schedule by 17.01.2024 (Wednesday)

Final Publication

Existing Schedule by 05.01.2024 (Friday),

Revised Schedule by 22.01.2024 (Monday)
