Mandi Gobindgarh, October 28: The Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, announced the launch of its B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture programme, following official approval from the Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education This milestone shows the university’s commitment to promoting agricultural education, innovation, and sustainable development. The new programme aims to provide students with solid knowledge of modern farming practices, agri-business management, and new technologies in agriculture.
Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor, expressed pride in this achievement. He stated that Desh Bhagat University continues to expand its academic offerings in line with national priorities. Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor, and Dr. Sandeep Singh, President, also congratulated the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences for this important recognition.
