CM Mann orders implementation of ESMA on employees holding pen-down strike

Chandigarh, August 31

Punjab government ordered that the East Punjab Essential Services (Maintenance) Act (ESMA) would be implemented on all the employees working on the field to tackle with post-flood situation in the state. The employees of the DC office and the revenue department are going to hold pen-down strike from September 1 regarding their demands.
