CM Mann hints at possible changes in timings of Govt offices

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday hinted at the possible changes in timings of government offices.

Addressing the gathering during TIE CON here today, the Chief Minister said for the pubic convenience during summer, last year the state government had changed timings of government offices from 1st April to 31 July.

“We had decided to change the timings of government offices from 1st April to 31st July keeping the convenience of the people in mind… which saved 55 MW of electricity… people’s work was done on time and hassles were reduced,” he said.

CM’s statement indicates that the government offices timings can change from next month again.
