CM Mann goes live from hospital to share cabinet decisions on flood situation

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who is currently undergoing treatment in hospital, went live today to brief the public about the key decisions taken during the state cabinet meeting.

 

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s major announcement for flood-affected farmers:

• Nod to ‘Jisda Khet Usdi Ret’ policy
• Rs 4 lakh compensation for families of deceased
• Compensation of Rs 20,000 per acre
• Installment or interest on loans waived up to 6 months
• Medical supplies and camps to be established
• Vaccination against water-borne diseases due to flood water
