CM Mann expresses grief on killing of three jawans in Anantnag terrorist attack

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann expressed his grief on the killings of three jawans in Anantnag terror attack.

“Saddened to hear the news of the terrorist attack in Anantnag of Jammu and Kashmir last evening…During the attack, Colonel Manpreet Singh in the Indian Army (who was from Kharar Constituency)…including a jawan and a police DSP were martyred…Praying for courage and courage to the families… I sincerely salute the bravery and spirit of the three martyrs who sacrificed their duty for the sake of the country,” said Mann.

An Indian Army Colonel commanding a Rashtriya Rifles Unit along with a Major and a Deputy Superintendent of Police were killed in a gunfight with terrorists in Kokernag area of Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.

The killed officers have been identified as Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonak & DSP Humayun Bhat.
