Chandigarh-Ludhiana National Highway closed in Samrala

Chandigarh-Ludhiana National Highway has been closed in Samrala as people of 10 surrounding villages have gathered and are staging a sit-in protest.

The villagers say that the Chandigarh-Ludhiana National Highway will remain closed until the biogas plant is closed. Villagers say that this plant will spread diseases in the area and pollution will increase significantly, which will result in major harm to your health. Farmers and political leaders also participated in this protest.
