CEO Invest Punjab and Director Industries Lend Patient hearing to industrial Association

In order to resolve various issues of Industrialists of SAS Nagar district, an open house meeting was held today at DAC Mohali where CEO Invest Punjab, Davinder Pal Singh Kharbanda and Director Industries and Commerce, Puneet Goyal along with DC Aashika Jain lent patient hearing to industrial Associations and assured them of resolving their issues in time bound manner.

CEO Invest Punjab apprised of the industrial associations representing the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohali Industrial Association and Derabassi Industrial Association that a first of its kind ‘Government Industrialist Meet’ would be held at Mohali by the Government of Punjab on the directions of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. He said that the Chief Minister has ordered to hold such ‘Sarkaar Sanyatkar Milni’ in Mohali, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar by including the nearby districts in cluster based meetings at these sites.

Kharbanda said that the state has already approved New Industrial and Business Development Policy, 2022, aimed at boosting industrial development and creating employment opportunities in the state. Similarly, the deputy commissioners have been empowered to grant permission for investment upto Rs 25 Crore in the state so that the investor need not to come to Chandigarh for approvals.
