BJYM State President Vijay Rana in the state office ‘Kamalam’ congratulated all the players for creating history by winning 107 medals for India in the Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China.
BJYM State President Vijay Rana said that Indian players won a total of 107 medals which include 28 gold, 38 silver, and 41 bronze medals and this is India’s best performance so far in the Asian Games.
He said that while there is a wave of joy in the entire country on this achievement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also so happy that he himself has decided to welcome the players returning from China in Delhi on October 10.
He said that the performance of the players this time will generate more enthusiasm for sports among the youth of the country. Giving information, he said that players belonging to our city will also be specially honored by BJYM Chandigarh.
On this occasion, State General Secretary and Councilor Jasmanpreet Singh, Office Secretary Ashish Chaudhary, and Executive Member Nikhil Kumar were with him.
