Bikram Majithia exposes large scale illegal mining done by Minister Harjot Bains and former SSP Viveksheel Soni on the spot in village Khera Kalmot in Nangal constituency of Minister

Former Minister and senior SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia today exposed large scale illegal mining done by Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and ex Ropar SSP Vivksheel Soni on the spot in village Khera Kalmot in Anandpur Sahib constituency of Minister Bains and reiterated his demand for CBI enquiry into assets of Harjot Bains and SSP Viveksheel Soni.

Interacting with media on the spot at village Khera Kalmot, SAD leader said that he had only tweeted in the morning that he will visit Ropar but police and intelligence agencies alert team of Harjot Bains and they have removed their poclain machine, tippers and other machinery from mining site just minutes before their arrival.

He showed to media how fresh signs were visible at site of illegal mining. He said that those involved in this illegal mining were family members of Harjot Bains including his uncle Bachitar Singh, Tikka Singh and Sohan Singh were main operators of this racket. He said that Tikka Singh is also benami owner of Satluj Stone Crusher.

Responding to media questions on cancelling of registration of stone crushers, Majithia said that only those stone crushers are being targeting in which Minister Bains has no share. He said that only those stone crushers will work who will establish monopoly of Harjot Bains in this illegal mining.

He also demanded that location of all above family members should be traced, it will be of mining site. He said that they have made property worth several hundred crore rupees. He said that if CBI will interrogate SSP Soni, he will reveal everything on how and who were all running this illegal racket.

He also said that Minister Gurmeet Singh Hayer was third minister to be removed from Mining department as he was found involved in this illegal mining. He also said that he had come to know that big fish involved in illegal mining had sponsored function of marriage of Meet Hayer.

He also said that SSP Soni also mislead High Court. He said that in FIR registered on 17.10.23 he mentioned site of Bhalari village whereas in reality it was site of village Khera Kalmot and Nangran which was seized by ED but this fact was also not mentioned in the FIR.

Majithia further disclosed that whoso ever tries to stop this illegal mining, he is murdered by these men. He gave example of village Kotla Bajja in Sri Hargobindpur Sahib where Baildar Darshan Singh s/o Bawa was murdered when he tried to stop illegal mining at midnight.

On the occasion, Varinder Kumar Sarpanch Nangran disclosed that he had given four complaints against mining in their village but no action was taken in the matter. He said that now they have approached High Court over the matter.
