Aykai Hospital, in its mission to promote the life-saving cause of organ donation, celebrated World Organ Donor Day in collaboration with employees from Axis Bank ,Ludhiana. The event was designed to raise awareness among the bank employees about the crucial role that organ donation can play in saving lives.

Dr. Baldev Singh Aulakh, Chief Urologist and Transplant Surgeon,Chairman Aykai Hospital, Ludhiana delivered a powerful and motivational talk on organ donation. He provided a detailed explanation of how one brain-dead patient has the potential to save up to eight lives through organ donation. Dr. Aulakh’s talk was both informative and inspiring, motivating the employees to consider becoming organ donors themselves.

During the event, Dr. Aulakh emphasized the dire need for organs and the tragic reality that many people die each year waiting for transplants. He encouraged all attendees to take a stand for this noble cause, highlighting the significant impact that their decision to donate could have.

The event was a resounding success, with many employees from Axis Bank coming forward to pledge their support for organ donation. The pledge was led by Dr. Aulakh. Bank employees also signed the pledge card, demonstrating his commitment to the cause.
