Atrocities against farmers intolerable; Speaker Sandhwan calls for immediate acceptance of all demands by Centre as promised

Chandigarh, February 23

Condemning the brutal haryana police action against farmers as intolerable, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan has said that centre must without any delay accept all demands of farmers including legalisation of MSP.

Modi government had accepted all demands in 2021, and had promised fulfilment of all their demands, Sandhwan said. “Why then the farmers are being forcibly stopped from going to Delhi to raise their voice,” he asked.

Targetting the Haryana Government for murder of young Punjabi farmer Shubhkaran Singh, Sandhwan said the atrocities being perpetrated on Punjab’s farmers for demanding their due rights are intolerable and must stop.
