AAP condemns Bikram Majithia for his remarks on MLA Balkar Singh

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) strongly condemned Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia for his lousy remarks on its MLA DCP Balkar Singh and said that Majithia should learn to speak with restraint and refrain from making personal remarks.

During a press conference in Jalandhar on Tuesday, AAP Punjab General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat criticized Bikram Majithia and said that Majithia did not just insult DCP Balkar Singh, he has insulted the entire Dalit community and Babasaheb Ambedkar. He should immediately apologize for his statement.

He said that the people of Kartarpur are with the Aam Aadmi Party and DCP Balkar Singh. That’s why Akali Dal and Bikram Majithia are insecure. Out of desperation, he is targeting our leaders by making such derogatory remarks.

DCP Balkar Singh also slammed the Akali leader saying that Majithia should remember that he is from the family of traitors. His forefathers used to have lunch with General Dyer. We are the descendants of Baba Jeevan Singh. We are not going to run from the field. If Majithia has the guts, then he should come and face us in the election field. We will teach him proper lesson.

He said that I will file a written complaint against Bikram Majithia to the Election Commission and SC Commission and will also complain to the DGP of Punjab. We won’t let him get away with these remarks and will take legal action.
