An official spokesperson of Punjab State Election Commission said that 2231 nominations have been received for five Municipal Corporations as of today. In this connection, the total number of nominations received for Municipal Corporation Jalandhar is 448, for Municipal Corporation Ludhiana is 682, for Municipal Corporation Phagwara is 219, for Municipal Corporation Amritsar is 709, and for Municipal Corporation Patiala Corporation is 173.
