Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Cheema while presenting the budget announced that the free bus travel for women to continue in the financial year 2024-25.
” I am pleased to say that approx. 11 crore women of the State have availed free bus travel facility during the current year for which 29 ₹450 crore has been provided by the Government and an allocation of ₹450 crore has been provided in FY 2024-25 for continuing this service,” Harpal Cheema announced while presenting the budget.
