The Bhog and Antim Ardas ceremony of Sardar Gurpanth Singh Maan, elder brother of legendary Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan, was held today at Gurdwara Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, Sector 34, Chandigarh. The solemn ceremony took place from 12 noon to 1 p.m., drawing a large gathering of family members, close friends, and admirers.
Several prominent figures from the Punjabi entertainment industry and political sphere attended the ceremony to pay their final respects. Notable among them were Babbu Maan, Ranjit Bawa, Gippy Grewal, Bunty Bains, Malkiat Rauni, Bai Hardeep, Shamsher Sandhu, Darshan Aulakh, Amar Noorie, Jarnail Singh Ghuman and actor Hobby Dhaliwal. Political leaders including Punjab agricultural minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, MLA Dev Maan, Gurjeet Aujla (Member of Parliament), Kulwant Singh (MLA, Mohali), Gurdarshan Singh Saini, Prof Nirmal Jaura were also present.
The presence of such a wide array of notable personalities reflected the deep respect and affection Gurpanth Singh Maan commanded. Gurdas Maan, surrounded by his family and well-wishers, received condolences from all those in attendance.
