New Delhi, July 14
The President of India has accepted the resignation of Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) from the post of Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Following this, the President has approved a fresh round of gubernatorial and LG appointments, as listed below:
Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh has been appointed as the Governor of Haryana.
Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju has been appointed as the Governor of Goa.
Kavinder Gupta has been appointed as the new Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
These appointments will come into effect from the dates the respective individuals assume charge of their offices.
