Desh Bhagat University (DBU) hosted an engaging session on “Academic Career Opportunities in University of North America (UONA)”, graced by Jill Ku Martin, President, and Kirit Udeshi, Director Outreach of UONA. The event aimed to introduce innovative twinning and pathway programs for DBU’s Engineering and Management students, highlighting tremendous global academic and career prospects.
The collaboration offers unique pathways, including1+1 MS Computer Science with specializations in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics. 2+2 BS Programs in Computer Science and Business, ensuring seamless credit transfers and exposure to U.S. education standards.
During the session, UONA representatives elaborated on the academic and professional advantages of pursuing education at their institution. They addressed students’ queries on employment opportunities in the U.S., pathways to advanced degrees, and the benefits of international exposure.
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice President, DBU, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests and highlighted DBU’s commitment to global academic excellence. Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur and Dr Sandeep Singh, President of DBU interacted with the guests, emphasizing the significance of the partnership. Dr. Zora Singh expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating: “This partnership is a step toward creating globally competitive professionals. Our MoU with UONA will further strengthen academic excellence and global career opportunities for our students.”
The event concluded with a presentation from UONA representatives and an interactive Q&A session. The collaboration reflects DBU’s vision of providing international exposure and empowering students to succeed on a global scale.
