Now, No need of verification from Sarpanch/MC/Nambardar or Patwari to get the certificate: DC Himanshu Jain

Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Himanshu Jain said that under the important decision taken by the Punjab Government in the public interest, from today, there will be no need of certification from Sarpanch/MC/Nambardar or Patwari to get the handwriting verified for any certificate.

Deputy Commissioner said that earlier, to apply for any certificate like residential certificate, caste certificate, income certificate or pension etc., the person/beneficiary had to visit the service centers repeatedly, due to which the common people also had to face many kinds of problems. Under which hand written reports had to be made from the Sarpanch/MC/Numberdar.

Himanshu Jain said that due to the historic decision taken by the Punjab Government, now no citizen needs to get anyone’s report. Anyone can apply for their certificate by taking only their original documents and get the service through the service centers and now the report of the concerned Sarpanch/MC/Numberdar will be done online only.

Deputy Commissioner further informed that 23 service centers are running in Rupnagar district where complete services are being provided to the residents of the district and if anyone is facing any problem in getting government service, he can contact the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

He further said that all services can also be availed by calling the helpline number 1076. After which the employees of the Sewa Kendra reach the beneficiary’s house and provide services.

On this occasion, Sewa Kendra Manager Kamaljit Singh Behilu, DITM Monica and Sewa Kendra Master Trainer Amandeep Singh were present.
