Sikh delegation meet Bengal Governor over ‘Khalistani’ slur at IPS officer

Kolkata (West Bengal), February 23

Representatives of the Sikh community called on West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose on Thursday over Khalistani remark at Sikh IPS officer by BJP leaders.

Sikh IPS officer Jaspreet Singh claimed that Adhikari, the opposition leader in the state assembly, used the term “Khalistani” against him when he was stopped by police on his way to restive Sandeshkhali on Tuesday.
