Manish Tewari demands implementation of new criminal laws be stopped, let Parliament re-examine them

Chandigarh Member Parliament Manish Tewari has demanded immediate stop on implementation of new criminal laws and have suggested that Parliament should re-examine them.

He has tweeted a media report claiming that with implementation of laws, India will become a police state.

The new criminal Laws that came into effect from 12 midnight July 1st 2024 – ( Today) lay the foundations of turning India into a Police State.

Their implementation must be stopped forthwith and Parliament must re-examine them.
