Delhi Blast Video Emerges: Fireball Engulfs Traffic Near Red Fort, CCTV Footage Reveals Terrifying Moment

The first CCTV footage of the Delhi car bomb explosion near Red Fort has surfaced, capturing the exact moment when a fireball erupted among vehicles at a crowded intersection on Monday evening. The powerful blast killed 12 people and left at least 20 others critically injured, while several cars and auto-rickshaws were destroyed in the explosion.

The footage, dated November 10, 2025, and timestamped 18:50:52, shows heavy evening traffic near the Lal Qila Metro Station. As vehicles inch forward under a green traffic signal, a sudden massive explosion lights up the dark street, sending flames and debris flying before the screen fades into darkness.

According to police reports, the blast occurred near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, when a white Hyundai i20 exploded at a traffic signal. Initial investigations suggest that the car was deliberately driven toward a busy intersection, likely to maximize casualties. The explosion was so intense that nearby vehicles caught fire, and panic-stricken commuters were seen running for safety in videos recorded moments after the blast.

The prime suspect has been identified as Dr. Umar Nabi, a 31-year-old doctor from Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, who is believed to have been driving the car at the time of the explosion. Sources confirm that his family members are being questioned, and connections are being traced between the explosives used in Delhi and ammonium nitrate seized from Faridabad earlier this month.

Following the incident, Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened high-level meetings with intelligence and security officials. Multiple raids are underway across Delhi-NCR and Kashmir to uncover the full terror network behind the attack.

The case has now been transferred to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), and an FIR has been registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Investigators are piecing together the events leading to the explosion, which appears to be part of a larger coordinated terror plot.

The incident has once again revived haunting memories of previous terror attacks in the national capital, bringing back fears of renewed extremist threats to Delhi’s public safety.
