MP (Rajya Sabha) Sanjeev Arora held a meeting of Gurdev Nagar Residents here today.
The residents assured to unitedly work for the victory of Arora. Speakers including Vijay Danav, Jatinder Kapoor and Area Councillor Gurpreet Singh Babbal appreciated Arora’s three years achievements as an MP. They termed Arora as the right candidate for the Ludhiana West Assembly Constituency.
On this occasion, Arora highlighted some of his works such as elevated road, upgradation of civil hospital and ESI Hospital, launch of OTS Scheme for the industry, construction of Halwara Airport, bicycle track and construction of 4 bridges along the Sidhwan Canal.
Arora said he is making all out efforts to make Ludhiana a model city. He said he has big plans for the city after his victory in the coming by-election. He said the policies and programmes of the state government are pro-people and industry-friendly.
He took immediate notice of the residents’ complaint about harassment of the commuters by some traffic police personnel on the garb of checking of documents in the Dhandari Area. He immediately called the traffic police authorities to look into the complaint and take necessary steps.
Arora thanked the Gurdev Nagar Residents for showing complete faith in his leadership and working for his victory.
