Ludhiana, March 24
MP (Rajya Sabha) Sanjeev Arora visited Jagraon Bridge and laid wreaths before the statues of great martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, who were martyred by the British on March 23, 1931.
Paying glowing tributes, he said, “We should never forget our martyrs because we enjoy freedom today due to their sacrifices.” He emphasised that the three young revolutionaries laid down their lives at an early age, and every citizen now must work tirelessly for national unity and integration.
People present at the event chanted slogans of “Inquilab Zindabad.”
Later, in an informal interaction with the media, Arora stated that the Punjab government under CM Bhagwant Singh Mann is dedicated to providing smooth and effective governance. He highlighted the resolution of several long-pending public issues as a testament to the people’s faith in the current administration.
Among those present were local administrative officers, political leaders, and party workers.
