Despite ongoing hectic electioneering, Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly bypoll, Sanjeev Arora, participated in a morning walk at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on Thursday morning. He was joined by senior AAP leaders including AAP Punjab President Aman Arora, Punjab Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund, MLAs Ashok Prashar Pappi, Daljit Singh Grewal, and Rajinderpal Kaur Cheema.

Amid the lush greenery and fresh morning air of the PAU campus, the AAP leaders interacted warmly with the public. Arora met morning walkers, exchanged greetings, shook hands, and took selfies with several morning walkers. Describing the experience as “relaxing and energising,” Arora said such heartfelt public interactions serve as a great motivation during the campaign trail.

“Meeting the people in such a relaxed and informal environment recharges me completely. The smiles, warmth, and encouragement of Ludhiana’s people are my strength,” Arora remarked.

Many morning walkers at the PAU expressed appreciation for Arora’s accessibility and his approachable demeanor, highlighting that his regular interactions with the public reflect a people-centric leadership style.

This unique public outreach initiative not only highlighted Arora’s commitment to staying connected with citizens but also underscored AAP’s grassroots approach to politics. The gathering also became an impromptu show of support for Arora, with several morning walkers expressing their faith in the development work carried out under his tenure and pledging their support in the upcoming bypoll.

With the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election nearing, Arora’s blend of formal campaigning and informal public interactions is clearly aimed at striking a chord with the urban electorate, known for valuing transparency and accessibility in leadership.
