MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla today visited all the railway crossings of Amritsar city and villages. The Central Railway team was also with him. Underbridges or overbridges will be built at these gates as per the requirement. For which a feasibility report will be prepared first.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla today with the team first visited Shivala Gate, Kot Khalsa, Joda Gate, Putlighar, Chheharta Gate and all other gates including Jahangir and Majitha railway crossing. Where he stood on the spot and listened to the problems faced by the people and promised to solve them.
MP Aujla said that the city railway crossings were visited today. There are about 16 gates in the city where he inspected the ground reality with the team. Underbridges or overbridges will be built at these gates according to the location. Earlier, a feasibility report has been sent to the state government, but the state government does not have the money, due to which this project could not be prepared. Now he will try for this himself and get the budget passed from the central government. The feasibility report will be sent to the state as well as the center. After this, the project will be prepared and then whatever budget is there will be passed. He said that the construction work on the lane leading to Pathankot is the responsibility of the corporation, but the corporation lacks funds, due to which they had earlier brought funds from the center for the Rigo bridge, in the same way, now they will bring funds for development for the convenience of the people at the railway crossing and their goal is that the budget should be passed in this term and the people should be relieved of the problem of traffic jams by building a bridge.
