MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla met Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasad today. During this, he discussed the issue of opening trade with Pakistan. During this, he also thanked him for allowing jewellery export from Amritsar.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla met Union Minister Jitin Prasad in Delhi today. Giving information in this regard, he said that import export from Amritsar was discussed with Jitin Prasad. Detailed talks were held with him on import export through both road and air routes. He said that during this, talks were held especially on opening the trade which was closed with Pakistan via Wagah. He said that being a border area, there is a great need to open trade with Pakistan, the whole of Amritsar will benefit from this. He said that import export from Amritsar’s Sri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport was also discussed. He said that the government should help them for its development and expansion so that more and more goods can come from here.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that during this meeting Jitin Prasad ji was thanked for allowing the export of jewellery from Amritsar. He said that this was very much needed and the demand for this was going on for a long time. For this, information was given in person and demand was made, then this demand was also raised through continuous correspondence and now after the permission, he was thanked.
MP Aujla said that Jitin Prasad assured him that in the coming time, more good decisions will be taken for Amritsar and whatever problems there are, they will be worked upon so that people do not face any kind of problems and Amritsar can be made a developed city.
