Mayank Foundation helps 39 Punjab’s girls with Rs.3.90 lac scholarship to continue with higher studies

Mayank Foundation which started Pratibha Girls Scholarship Program (PGS Program), with the aim of motivating the girls of the border district for higher education and providing them with scholarships. Under the PGS Program – Every year, Rs.10,000 for three consecutive years to 39 financially weak girls is given, who want to study with higher studies.

It is pertinent to mention that on 7 October 2017, a young student Mayank Sharma died in a road accident. After which the Mayank Foundation was formed to keep the memory of his family and friends fresh. Mayank was a badminton player. The foundation plays an important role in the field of education, sports and transportation.

At a simple and impressive was organized at Vishnu Bhagwan Rai Bahadur Hall of Das & Brown World School, in which young entrepreneur, speaker and social activist Mandeep Kaur Tangra participated as the chief guest, while social worker Sanjana Mittal, District Chairman Innerwheel District 309 Surindra Monga , Former Chairman Santosh Sharma, Red Cross Secretary Ashok Behal, joined the event as special guests. The ceremony was presided over by the president of the foundation and educationist Dr. Anirudh Gupta.
