Ludhiana, April 7
On persistent demand by area residents and area municipal councillors, MP Sanjeev Arora is getting started 13 development works worth about Rs.5.27 Crore in different areas of Ludhiana (West) assembly constituency falling under Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT).
According to MP Arora, tenders of these works have already been floated. He said all these works are to be completed within the next 1-2 months.
Providing details of these works, he said the development works to be undertaken as under: P/F Play Station and open gym in various parks in Sant Isher Singh Nagar 8.4 Acres Scheme (Rs.30,60,000); Repair and renovation in parks of Sant Isher Singh Nagar 8.4 Acres Scheme (Rs.15,21,000); P/L CC in Sant Isher Singh Nagar 8.4 Acres Scheme (Rs.41,00,000); Construction of Parks in Block-E Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar 475 Acre Scheme (Rs.49,56,000); P/F Decoratives Fencing Lights and Round Bracket Lights in all parks of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar 475 Acre Scheme (Rs.49,73,000); P/F Canopies in Various parks of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar 475 Acre Scheme (Rs.49,94,000); P/F Play Station and open gym in various parks in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar 475 Acre Scheme (Rs.49,58,000); Repair and renovation of various parks in Maharishi Balmik Nagar and Sukhdev Enclave (Rs.47,00,000); P/F Play Station and open gym in various parks of Maharishi Balmik Nagar and Sukhdev Enclave (Rs.49,73,000); Repair and renovation of Community Centre in Sukhdev Enclave Schemes (Rs.32,50,000); P/F Open gym and play station in various parks of Rajguru Nagar 129Acres Scheme (Rs.48,08,000); Providing of two fountain in Rajguru Nagar 129 Acres Scheme (Rs.49,89,000) and Repair and raising 60mm thick interlocking tiles on road berms in Rajguru Nagar 129 Acres Scheme (Rs.14,98,000).
MP Arora said, “These projects reflect our commitment to improving public spaces and community well-being. With timely execution, residents will soon witness a visible transformation in their local parks and civic infrastructure. Our goal is to deliver quality facilities that cater to all age groups.”
