Taking a significant step to ensure a seamless and hassle-free experience in doing business, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal has launched a helpline number 0181-2602139 and Action Line WhatsApp number 9646222555 for the facilitation of investors.
Dr. Aggarwal informed that investors can call the landline number for any query or solution, or send a message on the Action Line WhatsApp number.
During a meeting held at the District Administrative Complex today with officials from various departments and industry representatives, Dr. Aggarwal said that this initiative has been taken by the district administration to ease investor support. Now investors can directly contact the district administration for queries, information, or solutions regarding investment approvals and related processes. He added that this step would help make communication more convenient between investors and concerned departments.
Reiterating Punjab Government’s commitment to providing a favorable environment for entrepreneurs and investors to operate their businesses, the Deputy Commissioner assured that no hurdle would be allowed in their investment journey in the district.
He also directed officials of various departments, who receive applications through the Invest Punjab Business First Portal, to ensure timely resolution.
He stated that a dedicated cell is already operational in the district to assist industries.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to investors and entrepreneurs to make maximum use of the helpline and action line. The meeting was attended by SDM Adampur Vivek Kumar Modi (also holding additional charge as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rural Development), GM DIC Deep Singh Gill, and officials from various departments along with investors.
