Virginia Giuffre, the key survivor in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking scandal, has made disturbing new claims in her posthumously published memoir. In the book, titled “Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice,” Giuffre recounts her horrific experiences of exploitation and reveals that she was allegedly raped by a “powerful Prime Minister” on Epstein’s private island in 2002.
According to the memoir, Giuffre describes enduring extreme physical and psychological abuse. She recalls being strangled and assaulted, saying that the accused “took pleasure in watching me beg for my life.” Giuffre writes that this event marked the darkest moment of her life but ultimately inspired her to break free from Epstein’s network and fight for justice.
Although she did not name the leader directly in the book, Giuffre had previously identified the alleged perpetrator in court documents as former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. Barak has strongly denied the allegations but admitted to knowing Epstein personally.
Giuffre’s memoir also reveals that she was unable to publicly name several other influential figures due to fear of legal retaliation and financial threats. She wrote that powerful individuals used intimidation tactics and lawsuits to silence her and other victims.
The 400-page memoir, released on October 21, 2025, through the Associated Press, chronicles not just the abuse but also Giuffre’s years-long struggle for justice. It serves as both a personal testimony and a call for awareness about sexual exploitation and the systemic protection of abusers in high places.
In one harrowing passage, Giuffre recalls how, at just 18 years old, she was repeatedly assaulted and left “beaten and covered in blood.” When she pleaded with Epstein not to send her back to the political leader, he dismissed her, saying, “One day, you’ll have to face him again.”
The memoir also touches upon Giuffre’s earlier allegations against Prince Andrew, whom she accused of sexually abusing her when she was a minor. Though Prince Andrew has denied all charges, the revelations in this book revive scrutiny over his alleged connections to Epstein’s criminal network.
Virginia Giuffre’s final words in the memoir are a powerful appeal for survivors everywhere: “They took my voice for years, but they couldn’t take my truth.”
