Pakistan Blast: Explosion Near Islamabad High Court, Security Tightened After Car Blast

A car explosion occurred in Islamabad, Pakistan, near the High Court premises on Tuesday. According to media reports, the blast took place inside a car, and fortunately, it remained confined to the vehicle itself. No casualties or significant damage have been reported so far.

Authorities have increased security measures in the area following the incident. Preliminary reports suggest that the explosion may have been caused by a gas cylinder bursting inside the car.

It’s worth noting that just a day earlier, a similar car explosion occurred in New Delhi, India, claiming the lives of nine people.

Explosions are, unfortunately, not uncommon in Pakistan. In recent years, the country has witnessed several such incidents due to technical faults, militant activities, or accidental causes. However, in this particular case, officials have confirmed that it appears to be an accident rather than a deliberate attack.
