Minneapolis, USA – A shooting incident in Minneapolis where an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent fatally shot a 37-year-old American woman has triggered a political firestorm. The event has pitted President Donald Trump against local officials.

What Happened?

On Wednesday morning in South Minneapolis, ICE officers were conducting an operation. During this, an agent shot Reni Nicole Good, who was in her car, in the head. She was declared dead at the hospital.

President Trump defended the agent on social media, calling the incident “self-defense.”

Domestic Terrorism: ICE described protesters as “violent rioters” and claimed the woman tried to run over the agent with her car.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz have completely rejected Trump’s claims.

Video Evidence: Mayor Frey stated that after reviewing the video, Trump’s “self-defense” narrative is utter “nonsense” (bunkum).
Eyewitness Accounts: Witnesses said the car was not moving toward the agents when one tried to open the door. The agent stepped back and fired three shots through the window.
