Industrial leaders expressed their gratitude to MP Rajya Sabha and AAP candidate from Ludhiana (West), Sanjeev Arora, for facilitating the introduction of the One-Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme for industrial plots, sheds, and residential plots in Industrial Focal Points developed by the Punjab State Industries Export Corporation (PSIEC).
This interaction meeting was organised by the Apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Punjab) on Friday evening, where industrialists also raised several pressing concerns and urged Arora to take necessary action in the future.
OP Bassi, Rajnish Ahuja, Gurmeet Singh Kular, Sandeep Jain, JR Singhal, Ajit Lakra, SS Bhogal, Ramesh Kakkar, Vinod Thapar, Ram Lubhaya, SB Singh, Arshpreet Sahni, BR Katna senior XEn, Ashok Aheer and Gagnesh Khurana highly appreciated Arora for taking several initiatives for providing relief to the industry. They said Arora has been representing them as their advocate before the government. They said Arora has not only done for the local industry only but for overall development of the city.
Rajnish Ahuja said Arora has done such things for the industry, which were not done by anyone over the decades. He said Arora’s working is pro-industry and pro-people, adding that he is very much efficient and energetic.
Kular said, MP Arora has done a hard work for bringing OTS for the industry in the last about three months, adding that this decision will ultimately benefit a lot the industry. Besides, this decision will lead to employment generation.
Arora spoke about his three-year performance as an MP in the Rajya Sabha. The industrialists’ gathering was seen clapping after listening to his report card.
During the meeting, Arora patiently listened to the industrialists and answered to the issues raised by various industrialists. The issues raised were related to the setting up for an exhibition center in Ludhiana, NOCs, stamp duty and Buddha Dariya.
