In a solemn tribute to the unwavering courage and patriotism of India’s armed forces, a special honouring function was organised by Fact News Media & Network recently at the Press Club in Chandigarh.
Monish Behl, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Fact News, who co-organised this event that brought together war veterans, families of martyred soldiers, senior defence officials, and distinguished citizens, paid homage to the extraordinary bravery and selfless service of India’s servicemen and women. Behl, who is a renowned industrialist based in the Middle East and a respected philanthropist, has been consistently involved in such initiatives. His commitment to recognising the sacrifices made by the armed forces has earned appreciation both in India and abroad.
He emphasised the crucial role the military plays in maintaining the sovereignty and greatness of the nation. Behl said, “I salute every Indian soldier serving in our great Army, Navy, and Air Force. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifice have filled every Indian’s heart with pride. India owes its greatness to the strength and selfless service of its armed forces—without them, that greatness would not be possible.”
He also said that, “Our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi stands as one of the most respected and influential leaders on the global stage, and under his leadership, the nation has grown leaps and bounds.” He said, there is nothing more valuable than the honour of being an army officer, nothing more powerful than the uniform of our defence forces, and nothing greater than the pride and dignity of the country.
Also present at the event was Subedar-Major Sanjay Kumar (Param Vir Chakra). His attendance served as a living reminder of the exceptional gallantry and dedication that the Indian armed forces embody. Addressing the gathering, Subedar-Major Sanjay Kumar delivered a heartfelt message, stating, “Every Indian owes a debt of gratitude to the Indian armed forces for their duty. I salute every soldier of our great Army, Navy, and Air Force. Your courage, commitment, and sacrifice have filled every Indian heart with pride.”
