Chandigarh, February 2
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ordered the reinstatement of IG Paramraj Singh Umranangal.
An FIR was registered against Umranangal in the Kotakpura and Behbal Kalan shooting incident due to which he was suspended. On Friday, the High Court announced in its orders that the suspension have been cancelled.
Earlier, when he was suspended, he took refuge in CAT. His petition was rejected by CAT. After this he approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
