World-famous mountaineer Anita Kundu meets CM Manohar Lal

Chandigarh, April 19

World-renowned mountaineer Anita Kundu met Chief Minister, Manohar Lal at his residence Sant Kabir Kutir and sought blessings for her next goal. The Chief Minister extended greetings to Anita Kundu for a successful journey.

Anita Kundu, who hoisted the tricolor three times on the world’s highest peak Mount Everest, apprised that now she will climb the 8,481 metres high peak Mount Makalu located in Nepal and will hoist the Indian tricolour.

Notably, in the year 2020, Anita Kundu has also been honoured by the President; with the ‘Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award’, the biggest adventure award.
